We started the Journey in a a hurry as my partner had difficulties in reaching the Bus startion on time due to traffic. Finally he reached 10mins before the departure and we happily took our seats in the KSRTC bus. The bus started at 9:20pm. We reached Trichy at 6am as against the actual arrival time of 4am. We then took the Mudukulathur bus and reached tirupattur at 8:30am.
We took the karaikudi bus and reached pillayarpatti temple at 8:50am. We took bath at the nearby guest house and had a nice darshan at the temple. We had breakfast and left for tirupattur.
Our next destination was Tirukoshtiyur. My partner checked with some people at the bus stand and they suggested us to take the sivagangai bus and get down at tirukoshtiyur. The temple was huge. This was a siva temple in the beginning and then vaishanava temples were built around it.
We had very nice darshan and we left for thanjvur.
